On 10th December, 2024 , the Indian Red Cross Society Punjab, under the leadership of Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, the Governor of Punjab and President of the Indian Red Cross Society, organized a powerful rally titled ‘PEOPLE’S WALK AGAINST DRUGS’. The event aimed to raise awareness about the pressing issue of drug abuse and to encourage a united community effort in fighting against it. We are proud to announce that Sacred Heart Convent School, Naugajja-Kishangarh, actively participated in this significant rally. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of the School Director, Assistant Director, Vice Principal, School Management, teachers, and students, all of whom contributed to the success of the event.
As a mark of respect, Sacred Heart Convent School extended a special welcome to Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, the Governor of Punjab, during the rally. The Governor also addressed a press conference, where he highlighted the importance of community awareness and the collective efforts needed to combat drug abuse.
By joining this initiative, Sacred Heart Convent School has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting healthy living and social responsibility among its students. The rally was a powerful reminder of the collective effort needed to combat the growing drug menace in our society and support the well-being of future generations.
