Sacred Heart Convent School, Naugajja-Kishangarh is run by the Catholic Church under a registered charitable society and administered by the Sisters of the Divine Saviour (Salvatorians). His Excellency Rt. Rev. Dr. Franco Mulakkal, Bishop of Jalandhar Diocese is the Patron of the school.  The school is affiliated with the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (I.C.S.E) New Delhi, Vide No PU173. The medium of Instruction is English and the Method of teaching and the curriculum are in accordance with the scheme laid down and approved by the Council for the Primary, Secondary, and Higher Secondary stages as approved by the council. Special importance is given to the mastery of English, including Spoken English, for Languages are taught from the Pre-Primary level with due priority. Due importance is given to Punjabi, the regional Language, as per the Strict Government norms.

Punjabi is taught as a compulsory subject up to the tenth standard and all the students must appear for Punjabi subject in the Board examination. Those students who wish to take Hindi as an Additional Language/subject along with Punjabi for the Board examination must place a special request to the Principal. It is left to the discretion of the Principal to make a special arrangement for Hindi classes, for which an extra tuition fee will be charged, to pay for the extra classes, a teacher will have to get engaged.

This is a co-educational school. Although open to boys and girls of all communities, it is a minority community school run by Christians enjoying all the rights and privileges enshrined in articles 29 and 30 of the Indian Constitution.
